The Senior Play for Level 4 was on
22 & 23 November2014, performed in the Roundhouse Theatre, and was a rousing success.
Earlier
in the afternoon on the 23 November the Youth Theatre had supported the Dover Christmas
Lights with dance, singing and drama. Then by way of thanks to the Rotary Club of Dover
for their past support they performed alongside the Rotary's Santa's Sleigh.On 4 December 2014 at the Roundhouse Theatre, it was the DYT Christmas
show, performed to a good sized and very appreciative audience. Quite a hectic end to the year.
On 4th December 2013 the students of Drama Levels 1, 2 & 3 plus the Junior and Senior Dance put on a mixed show of Drama,
Dance and Song. Including Christmas Carol. Really good fun for actors and audience alike. Link here to photographs.
23 November 2013, having taken part in the Dover Lights event the Level IV students then put on their winter show. Two good

4th June 2012 - a performance of "A Midsummer Night's
Dream" in celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. A fantastic show that was well attended and which
received great reviews from the audience.
8th December 2011 (Thursday) -
The Lvls I to III Drama and Jnr / Snr Dance did a selection from Beatrix Potter plus Jason & the Astronauts so everyone
enjoyed watching the good and the bad rabbits, a Hydra, journeys into space and much more. Audience participation was
required.
4th December 2011 (Sunday) - Members of Lvl IV did an extract of LAS'sC
for the Kent Youth Arts' Festival at the Turner Contemporary in Margate. A small but very appreciative audience.
Those attending enjoyed participating in the other Festival events.
26th November 2011 (Saturday) - Dover
Christmas Lights - The Charlton Centre was a little out of the way but everyone gave a great performance for a small but appreciative
audience.
17th & 18th November 2011 (Thursday/Friday) - The Senior Play ~ "Lord
Arthur Savile's Crime", an excellant performance of this comedy, which garnered high praise from all who came to
watch it.

Oct 11 ~ Dickens Festival at 8 p.m. in the Phoenix Railway Club, River, CT17 0QD. Good performances, venue a bit noisy,
Carnival princesses were very nice and the players appreciated the princesses coming over to say thank you.
13 August 2011 (Saturday) to 18 August (Thursday) is the Summer Performing Arts Workshop "SPORT
IN PERFORMANCE". Drama, Film Making, Dance, Music Theatre, Stage Combat, Sport and Circus Skills, which completed
with a show in the Town Hall. Year 6 (school year) were eligible to audition
for the Cultural Baton.
21st July 2011 (Thursday) @ 7 p.m. (1900 hours) at Roundhouse Theatre
= the end of term show for Level I / II drama plus Junior and Senior dancers.
17th July 2011 (Sunday) @ 2:30 p.m. (1430 hours) - Help for Heroes Concert at
Tower Theatre Folkestone ~ were scenes from "Alice".
14th & 15th July 2011 (Thursday
& Friday)- end of term show for Level III/IV is to be "ALICE" by Laura Wade. It will take place in the
Roundhouse Theatre, performances at 7:30 p.m. (1930 hours). Casting to be advised on Monday 6th June at Harold Street
from 7 to 9 p.m. (1900 to 2100 hours). Rehearsal date / times to be confirmed.
7th December 2010 - DYT Christmas Show in the Roundhouse Theatre and something which members
of the public are still talking about; such was the excellent performance by all the dance and junior drama students.
27th November 2010 - Dover Christmas Lights which was in the Town Square and
the younger members have to be applauded for coping so well with the very cold weather and the icy conditions.
25th & 26th November 2010 - Senior Play by Level IV and
Level III students in the Roundhouse Theatre was "Appointment With Death" by Agatha Christie. This received glowing
reviews in the local newspapers, which was a testament to the hard work and professionalism of all concerned. 2nd October 2010
(Saturday) - Dickens Festival. 2.00 p.m. in the Market Square and 7.30 p.m. in the Kings Hall. The weather was kind
to us with only a little rain and the microphones coped fairly well with the wind. The performance by the junior members
was very good and received warm applause. The evening performance for the Carnival Queen Ball was also well received.
